A Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship is a great first step into the world of pharmacy and allows you to learn the basics of the industry whilst earning a wage.
In these roles, you will work under the supervision of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician and provide medicines and pharmacy services to patients and the public. You’ll also be involved in supporting the supply and preparation of medicines and products whilst also giving advice to patients on how to use their medicines and prescriptions.
The Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship lasts between 12 - 15 months, allowing you to gain a good, all-round knowledge and strong foundation to develop a career in the Pharmacy industry.

Level 3 Pharmacy Technician:
The Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship is a great next step for those who have completed a Level 2 Apprenticeship or those who have completed their A levels and are wanting to get into the workplace and learn more about the Pharmacy industry.
Pharmacy Technicians are registered professionals working within the regulatory standards for pharmacy. In these roles you will work in a range of settings such as pharmacies, GP practices, care homes, hospitals and more.
This apprenticeship is 24 months long and provides you with great practical skills and knowledge for a career in this industry.
Career Progression After a Pharmacy Apprenticeship
Once you finish ur apprenticeship in pharmacy, you can continue onto another higher-level apprenticeship. For example, once you have completed a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Apprenticeship, you can move onto a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician allowing you to keep growing and learning more about the roles whilst also gaining more responsibility.
